Igiant, formerly the Optics Division under iMagictek, is an optical design and manufacturing company, which branched out its own in 2006 to form an independent company. The core technology team consists of experienced and senior optical designers, RD engineers. From optical design, tool fabrication, precision injection, automation to full scale inspection, we can provide total solution to micro molding component and optical parts.

Vision

iGiant Optics focuses on the manufacturing of precision micro-optical products. With the advancement of AI data processing and 5G technology,, optical communication technology has also been significantly enhanced. Our company is dedicated to integrating these advanced technologies into the optical communication field by developing key optical device products. Utilizing automated production processes and precision optical techniques, along with extensive collaboration experience with international industry leaders, we have established a highly automated precision manufacturing capacity that provides high quality and optimal service to meet global customer needs. Additionally, by integrating existing semiconductor packaging customer resources, we aim to collaboratively create a new era of service strategies, driving comprehensive progress and future development in the industry.

Company history

  • 2006 iGiant Optics was established, and set up factories in Hukou and Wuxi. Same year mass produced lens modules for Samsung smartphones.
  • 2007 Began mass production of lens modules for ST Microelectronics' Blackberry phones.
  • 2009 Started mass production of wafer-level high-temperature lenses for a Nokia phone project.
  • 2011 Mass production of HTC Flash Fresnel Lenses commenced.
  • 2014 Launched mass production of micro-molding dual-shot micro products for ToF sensors.
  • 2015 Became a leading supplier of T1 ToF micro-optical components for smartphones.
  • 2017 Initiated mass production and assembly of 100G Lens Arrays.
  • 2019 Began mass production of precision micro-optical components for ToF and in-mold LF forming processes.
  • 2020 iGiant Optics Zhongli factory was established, initiating mass production of ALS components.
  • 2021 Introduced LDS technology, with over one billion units of 3D sensing components produced.
  • 2022 iGiant Optics was officially on the emerging stock market and underwent RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) certification in the same year.
  • 2023 Started production of 8-16 pin optical communication components (Ferrules).
  • 2024 Joined the Silicon Photonics Alliance, looking forward for future.
